1st day

well today went well lots of hills and traffic though. but i'm just getting into the swing of things. I got a good send off at the va. heck I even got a police escort for about the 1st 10 miles. well i'm tired as can be and getting ready for bed just thought I would update everyone and let them know how today went.

  1. Hey Lee. Wow, it's taken a long time to get here. Man I'll be following you everyday. It's a great thing you are doing. You sir are a patriot and I pray for a safe journey for you and no dogs!

  2. Congrats on making your first two days out. I'll be praying for you. Police escorts are wonderful. I recently had one in Newnan, Georgia last Saturday. I got back to Americus, Georgia Monday afternoon (August 31st). I rode around 7,400 miles in 132 days of pedaling through 30 states and the District of Columbia. I'll be checking out your blog regularly to check on your progress.

"May you have clear skies, smooth roads, and tailwinds to push you along."

    Take care,
