1st day

well today went well lots of hills and traffic though. but i'm just getting into the swing of things. I got a good send off at the va. heck I even got a police escort for about the 1st 10 miles. well i'm tired as can be and getting ready for bed just thought I would update everyone and let them know how today went.

  2. Congrats on making your first two days out. I'll be praying for you. Police escorts are wonderful. I recently had one in Newnan, Georgia last Saturday. I got back to Americus, Georgia Monday afternoon (August 31st). I rode around 7,400 miles in 132 days of pedaling through 30 states and the District of Columbia. I'll be checking out your blog regularly to check on your progress.
